Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

Commission Payment Terms
Commissions will be dispersed once a month for all orders that have been shipped.
There is a minimum monthly payout threshold of $100. If the total commissions for a given month are less than $100, the amount will roll over to the next month until the threshold is met.
As of May 16, 2023, commissions will only be paid on orders with a product value of $49.99 or more. Orders below this amount are not eligible for commission.
Commission is calculated based on the product value only. Shipping fees, sizer purchases, and service fees (e.g., custom design services) are not eligible for commission payments.

Prohibited Marketing Practices
To ensure the integrity of our affiliate program and protect the value of your efforts, the following practices are strictly prohibited:

• Coupon Site Listings: Affiliates are not permitted to share, list, or promote coupon codes on public coupon or discount aggregation websites (e.g., HotDeals, RetailMeNot, Honey). Doing so may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
• Unauthorized Use of Keywords: Affiliates may not bid on branded keywords, including "Jewelry by Johan," or use trademarked terms in paid search campaigns without prior written approval. This includes paid ads on Google, Bing, or any other search engine.
• Misleading or Deceptive Promotion: Affiliates must not mislead customers about the source, nature, or terms of a promotion. This includes creating false associations with discounts, sales, or coupon codes.
• Unapproved Social Media Promotion: Sharing coupon codes in unauthorized or unrelated social media groups, forums, or communities where they were not explicitly requested is prohibited.
• Affiliate Self-Referral: Affiliates are not allowed to use their own referral links or coupon codes for personal purchases.

Monitoring and Enforcement
We actively monitor traffic sources and promotional activities associated with affiliate accounts. If prohibited practices are detected, we reserve the right to:

• Deny commissions generated through such practices.
• Suspend or terminate the affiliate account without prior notice.

General Guidelines
Affiliates are expected to drive genuine traffic and actively promote Jewelry by Johan through approved channels, including personal websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their promotional efforts comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

By participating in the Jewelry by Johan Affiliate Program, you agree to these terms. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

Affiliate Benefits

As an affiliate, you will receive:

• 7% commission on website purchases (with an average order value of $505, you can expect commissions of $35 or more per referral)
• Your own personal Affiliate Dashboard
• Access to visitor, sales, and commission statistics
• High-performing web banners (custom banners available upon request)
• US-based customer service representatives
• Commission on any of our 4,000+ individual products
• A 30-day browser cookie

Commission Payment Details
Commission payments are made monthly (for all qualifying orders/items shipped), either through PayPal or direct checks. There is a monthly payout threshold of $100. Any monthly payout total less than $100 will carry over to the next month until the $100 threshold is achieved.

Commissions are based on actual product sales amounts only, calculated in US dollars (USD). Charges or payments related to shipping, taxes, duties, gift cards, discounts applied, refunds, returns, chargebacks, currency conversion, or any other supplementary charges, adjustments, or amounts are not included.

PPC Keyword Rules
Affiliates are prohibited from bidding on trademark terms relating to Jewelry by Johan, including but not limited to:

• Jewelry by Johan
• JBJ
• Johan Jewelry
• Johan Rings
• Jewelry Re-Imagined
• Rings by Johan
